Terms of use · Updated
Free to watch and share, on a few terms.
These terms cover realalpha.tv and its emails, and using Real Alpha means you agree to them. Every video plays in YouTube's player, so using Real Alpha also means you agree to be bound by YouTube's Terms of Service.
What Real Alpha is
Real Alpha picks the best minutes from long interviews with the people building AI, and plays them here in YouTube's player, credited to their shows. Around them we write titles, quotes, summaries, takeaways, viewing guides and transcripts, and keep lists of hosts, builders and AI companies.
It's free. We may change, pause or stop any part of it.
Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Real Alpha Inc., which runs Real Alpha ("we" on this page). We're still registering the company in the United States.
Despite the name, it isn't advice
Nothing on Real Alpha is investment, financial, legal or other professional advice. The people in these interviews speak for themselves: we pick a moment because it's worth hearing, not because we agree with it or have checked it. Do your own research before you act on anything you hear here.
AI helps write it, and can get things wrong
AI models help us pick the moments and draft the words around them, and speech-to-text writes many of the transcripts. Every quote has to match its transcript word for word, but a transcript can mishear a word, and a model can mix up who's talking or miss the point. The video is the record: if our words and the video disagree, trust the video, and tell us so we can fix it.
Who owns what
The videos, and what people say in them, belong to their shows and the people speaking. Photos are each person's own profile picture unless the photo credits say otherwise, and names and logos belong to their companies. Real Alpha isn't run by or affiliated with YouTube or the shows, and being on Real Alpha doesn't mean a person or company endorses it.
Our own work is ours: the picks, the writing, the design, and the Real Alpha name and logo.
What you can do with it
Share it. Links, quote cards and short quotes are all welcome, and so are search engines and AI assistants that point people here. Please don't republish our writing in bulk, pass it off as your own, or use our name in a way that suggests we're behind something we're not.
Don't use Real Alpha to break the law, and don't try to break into it, overload it or get past its checks for bots. We may block anyone who does.
The emails
Signing up is free, and every email has a link to unsubscribe in one click. To sign up you need to be at least 16, and the address has to be yours. The privacy policy says what we keep and why.
Sponsors and listings
Some spots are paid for: a sponsor's "Presented by" line, and the listed companies and founders on AI Companies and Builders, which are tagged Sponsored. Nobody can pay for a moment to be picked, a place in the feed, or a spot among the builders and companies we choose, and a paid listing isn't our endorsement. Sponsors and listed companies agree their own terms with us when they book.
The fine print
We work to keep Real Alpha accurate and running, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using Real Alpha or relying on it, and our total liability to you for anything to do with it is capped at US$100. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and of the United States. Nothing here takes away rights that the law where you live gives you and that can't be signed away. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
We'll update these terms as Real Alpha changes, and change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site or in an email. Using Real Alpha after a change means you accept the new terms.
Fixes, takedowns and questions
If you host a show or appear in one and want a moment, quote, transcript or photo fixed or taken down, write to hello@realalpha.tv. The same goes for a company about how it's listed, for anyone with a copyright complaint, and for questions about this page. We read every request and act on it quickly.
